Job Description
Summary
Brown Rudnick is seeking a 4th—6th year corporate associate to join our U.S. Corporate practice group in our Boston or New York offices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with SEC reporting, complemented by experience advising clients on a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling. This role requires applicants interested in daily, meaningful client interaction and the opportunity to work closely with in-house counsel, management teams, and boards of directors, with increasing responsibility over time. Candidates will have the opportunity to take on substantive responsibility early and work directly with experienced partners focused on providing the candidate first chair roles with a growing list of meaningful clients and business segments. Our goal is to have the successful candidate assume responsibility for and grow important client relationships and become a key member of our U.S. Corporate practice group.
More broadly, Brown Rudnick’s U.S. Corporate practice group advises a diverse client base—from early-stage companies to public corporations, as well as investors and financial institutions—on complex transactional and governance matters. The team works across a broad range of sectors, including technology and life sciences, providing integrated counsel on capital markets, M&A, and general corporate matters. Known for its collaborative culture, the practice also offers associates robust business development training in addition to the traditional legal training offered by big law firms. The group’s rapidly growing client base offers a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to have an immediate impact and assume high-level responsibility.
