We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design, build, and scale secure, high-performance systems. You will play a key role in backend architecture, technical leadership, and delivering robust cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5–7 years of strong backend development experience.
Deep expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot .
Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred), including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles .
Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs and microservices architectures .
Hands-on experience with distributed systems and high-scale backend systems .
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) .
Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes , and containerized environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and DevOps practices .
Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization .
Experience with security best practices is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services .
Own end-to-end backend development , from design through deployment and monitoring.
Lead and contribute to architecture and design decisions for backend systems.
Build and optimize REST APIs and microservices used across products.
Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability , following best engineering practices.
Conduct code reviews , provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features efficiently.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues .
Drive improvements in system scalability, reliability, and maintainability .
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing .
