Job Description
MAU is hiring a Human Resources Manager in Beech Island, SC. As an Human Resources Manager, you will provide site-wide human resources leadership and support for approximately 350–450 temporary associates, overseeing employee relations, HR investigations, hiring processes, payroll administration, compliance, training, and workforce programs. This is a direct-hire position.

Essential Functions
-
Ensure all pre-placement hiring requirements are completed and employee badges are issued appropriately
-
Manage badge deactivation for suspended and terminated employees
-
Maintain accurate security rosters among security personnel, the client, and MAU
-
Order and maintain onsite uniform inventory for associates
-
Conduct annual HR training for MAU associates on topics including union positions, workplace violence, and harassment prevention
-
Serve as the primary liaison with MAU Corporate for training initiatives, plant staff scheduling, EEO investigation personnel files, and support of MAU general counsel

Post job openings, job transfers, and promotion announcements

Partner with the MAU Site Manager to establish posting requirements and key interview questions
-
Coordinate candidate communications, interview schedules, locations, and interview team participation

Serve as a member of the interview team

Complete required Personnel Action Request (PAR) documentation for wage changes
-
Communicate wage changes to MAU payroll and invoicing teams and ensure Bullhorn assignments are updated
-
Support Performance Development Appraisals by training management staff on evaluation formats and best practices, maintaining evaluation documents, and communicating new standards

Lead HR investigations involving employee relations issues, EEOC or discrimination charges, and harassment claims
-
Ensure investigations are completed promptly and accommodate appropriate locations and shifts
-
Coordinate employee suspensions and investigation-related scheduling with MAU Site Management and Platform Managers
-
Communicate investigation dispositions and employee return dates and times to leadership
-
Consistently apply HR policies and guidelines to mitigate organizational risk and identify training opportunities
-
Administer employee drug testing programs, including random, property damage, for-cause, and post-accident testing
-
Provide case management support to MAU Safety and the Site Manager
-
Promote workplace safety by identifying hazards, correcting unsafe conditions, and strengthening MAU's safety culture
-
Administer employee counseling and documentation programs involving attendance, job performance, and personal conduct
-
Ensure employee documentation is timely and properly formatted and serve as a witness during counseling sessions when required
-
Administer employee recognition programs, including departmental and site safety milestones, birthdays, and service anniversaries
-
Oversee Bullhorn order and assignment activity in coordination with required client purchase orders
-
Establish auditing processes to ensure MAU compliance
-
Ensure payroll is entered daily and missed punches are investigated and documented appropriately
-
Ensure payroll is summarized weekly and prepared for electronic transmission to the MAU Augusta Branch
-
Administer direct deposit and pay card programs
-
Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to payroll processes throughout the facility
-
Monitor client accounts receivable and ensure weekly NTX amounts are updated for each purchase order
-
Ensure client service confirmers have appropriate documentation for invoice processing
-
Manage site-wide communications regarding HR policy changes and implementation
-
Ensure reminder communications are posted regarding MAU Augusta Branch holidays that may affect payroll distribution
Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work is performed in customer facilities that include administrative and manufacturing environments

Routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines

Customer locations may contain process manufacturing equipment and heavy industrial vehicles
-
Work environments may range from non-temperature-controlled facilities to GMP clean-room environments
