Professional Liability Attorney

The Los Angeles, CA office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing Professional Liability practice group.

The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation, research, writing, and advocacy skills, with experience independently managing matters through all phases of litigation. This position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated professional liability matters and work closely with a collaborative team representing a diverse range of professionals and businesses.

Responsibilities

Manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents

Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, hearings, and trials

Communicate directly with clients and provide regular case updates and strategic guidance

Handle a broad range of professional liability matters

Collaborate closely with attorneys across offices and practice groups on complex litigation matters

Qualifications

Admission to practice in California required

4+ years of litigation experience

Experience handling legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and/or other professional liability matters strongly preferred

Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment

Base Salary Range: $150,000-$200,000
