The Fort Lauderdale, FL office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing Insurance Coverage practice group.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative environment. Our attorneys receive meaningful hands-on experience, direct client interaction, and strong mentorship.
Responsibilities
Litigate insurance coverage cases as part of team, including conducting court appearances, depositions, and motion practice
Draft legal opinions, reservations of rights and disclaimers
Communicate directly with clients, providing proactive timely updates, legal insights, and strategic guidance throughout the case lifecycle
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of insurance coverage experience
Must have experience writing coverage opinions
JD degree with excellent academic credentials
Admission to the Florida State Bar
Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
