Litigation Attorney (Dallas or Houston) - REMOTE

Kaufman Dolowich LLP welcomes applications from Attorneys with at least three years of firsthand litigation experience in hospitality, premises liability, general liability, business/commercial litigation, or related insurance defense matters. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside in or near the Houston or Dallas metropolitan areas and be available to attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, and other in-person litigation proceedings as needed throughout their assigned region.

Responsibilities:

Work independently and collaboratively to manage all phases of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, handle oral arguments, and assist in trials in state and federal courts

Handle cases from inception through resolution, ensuring effective case development, risk assessment, and client communication throughout

Attend court appearances, mediations, depositions, and other litigation-related proceedings as required

Qualifications:

3+ years of progressive experience handling all aspects of defense litigation matters in hospitality (preferably hotels or managed properties), premises liability, general liability, business/commercial litigation, or a related practice area

Trial and arbitration experience preferred

Experience handling litigation in both federal and state courts

Admitted to practice in Texas

Resides in or near the Houston or Dallas metropolitan area and able to attend in-person court appearances and litigation events as needed
