Job Description
Crowell & Moring is seeking a mid-level associate to join our International Trade practice in either our New York or Washington, DC office.
Candidates must have 2 to 4 years of substantive experience in customs and import law. Experience handling forced labor, audits, investigations, penalty proceedings, disclosures, valuation, classification and origin matters is required. Candidates should have experience managing and running cases on a day-to-day basis, including supervising and managing junior associates. U.S. Court of International Trade experience is preferred. All candidates should have excellent academic credentials as well as highly developed writing and analytical skills.
Candidates must be a member of the state bar for the office to which they are applying or otherwise eligible for admission by waiver.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance to applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $225,000 to $290,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. Other benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave. The salary for this position may vary based on market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
