Who We Seek
The ideal candidate would have 7-15 years of real estate lending experience at a midsized or large law firm.
Hiring Considerations
- Candidates should have significant experience in lender side real estate lending transactions, with a strong preference for attorneys who have represented financial institutions or private equity lenders in complex financing matters.
- Experience should reflect a deep understanding of lender-side considerations across a broad range of transaction types, including acquisition financing, construction and development loans, bridge loans and permanent financing.
- Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of independently managing real estate lending transactions from term sheet through closing, including negotiating and drafting loan documents, coordinating due diligence, managing title and survey review, overseeing outside counsel, and guiding clients through complex deal structures with minimal supervision. The ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and drive deals to closing efficiently and accurately is essential.
- Experience representing relationship lenders — including commercial banks, savings institutions, credit unions, and debt funds — or hard-money and bridge lenders is strongly preferred. Familiarity with lender policies, internal credit approval processes, regulatory considerations, and institutional risk tolerances will be considered a significant advantage. Experience focused primarily on CMBS or conduit transactions is not preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a deal team environment and contribute to the continued growth and strength of the firm’s commercial real estate lending practice.

Compensation is based upon the roles and responsibilities of the position, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate and/or employee.
