Ballard Spahr LLP, which combined with Lane Powell PC in 2025, is seeking one (1) junior corporate associate (2 – 4 years relevant experience) and one (1) mid-level corporate associate (4 – 6 years relevant experience) to join its busy and growing corporate practice in its Seattle office. Qualified candidates will have experience in corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions transactions, and other commercial work. Successful candidates will have strong academic credentials and superior writing and communication skills.
Ballard is a nationally recognized, AmLaw 100 law firm with more than 750 lawyers across 19 offices in the United States. Its Business and Transactions Department includes both national and regional corporate practices involving public and private companies and nonprofit organizations in virtually all industries and sectors.

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salaries for these positions range from $220,000 – $305,000, which reflects the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
In addition to the salary for these positions, successful candidates may also be eligible for awards from an incentive bonus and/or a profit-sharing program.
