What You'll Do</h3>
You will support Avalara's customers in setting up the connector between Avalara's Tax Engine and the customer's ERP, POS, or eCommerce platforms under the guidance of senior implementation team members.</p>
Assist customers in configuring their ERP, POS, or eCommerce platforms to support their sales tax processes and industry best practices.</p></li>
Track key aspects of customer implementations, including task status, target dates, risk factors, and customer interactions — with close support from your Implementation Manager.</p></li>
Support customer success by answering application questions, tracking issues, monitoring changes, and escalating problems according to company guidelines.</p></li>
Learn and develop proficiency across Avalara's product suite and standard implementation methodologies.</p></li>
You will report to the Implementation Manager. This is an onsite role from the Pune office.

Install and configure a subset of the following ERP and platform integrations: Sage 100, Sage 300, Sage 500, Sage Intacct, Dynamics GP, D365 Sales, D365 Business Central, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Stripe Invoicing, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.</p></li>
Explain basic configuration options and demonstrate sales order/invoicing processes to customers.</p></li>
Manage a moderate portfolio of active customer implementations, maintaining clear documentation and timely follow-through on all assigned tasks.</p></li>
Work collaboratively with senior specialists and cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and deliver a positive onboarding experience.</p></li></ul>
What You’ll Need To Be Successful</h3>

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Information Systems, IT, or a related discipline.</p></li>
Foundational understanding of ERP systems, eCommerce platforms, or POS environments.</p></li>
Exposure to tax automation concepts or accounting/bookkeeping practices is a plus (e.g., Avalara, TaxJar, Vertex, Sovos, or similar).</p></li>
Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.</p></li>
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</p></li></ul>
