Production Laborer
Montreal, Quebec
Operations
Full-time, Hourly
Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination and reference check.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning
• Sweeping
• Vacuuming
• Lubrication
• Handling containers and bags weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs)
• Must be able to progress to a Process Operator position on rotating shifts within 90 days of hire
• Perform other duties as required

• Basic computer and math skills
• Must be proactive and participate in food safety programs
• Learn and follow company policies and work procedures
• Complete required documentation accurately
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to climb stairs and use ladders
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights
• Able to bend, kneel, and squat
• Able to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures and dusty environments
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required by management

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma (DES)
• Minimum 6 months of experience

Additional Information

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and participation in safety improvement initiatives
• Work in compliance with local and provincial regulations
• Understands health, safety, and environmental requirements and is responsible for full compliance
• All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must be able to maintain that authorization
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position
