If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.</p></div><p>Vast is looking for a <strong>Manufacturing Coordinator, 2nd shift</strong>, reporting to the<strong> Supervisor,Integration, </strong>to support Haven-1 Manufacturing within the <strong>Integration team</strong>. This role is responsible for coordinating, ensuring material delivery meets with schedule timelines. You’ll be working cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to maintain production flow and resolve any blockers proactively.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This will be a full-time, <strong>non-exempt</strong> position located in our <strong>Long Beach</strong> location.</p>
<p><strong>Shift hours:&nbsp;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Second Shift: 2pm - 10:30pm&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee, monitor, and facilitate the movement of components throughout the manufacturing process to ensure timely progression through our Vast locations.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coordinate the physical transfer of components across various stages including purchasing, receiving inspection, inventory, and relevant work centers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coordinate outside processing of components and liaise with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Support logistics operations by optimizing workflow staging as necessary.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain accuracy and integrity of system data in collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to align with demands and schedules.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Generate and maintain reports highlighting requirements, milestones, and limitations for internal and external stakeholders.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with schedulers, and managers to fulfill action requirements.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Communicate effectively and escalate issues promptly across various platforms and to specific stakeholders.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Escalate issues such as part shortages, purchase order delays, and discrepancies in BOM to relevant departments.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers and the planning team on the release of runs.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Follow schedules through effective planning and shortage management coordination.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2+ years in a manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2+ years of experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)&nbsp;</li>
<li>2+ years of Smartsheet.</li>
<li>Highly detail oriented and self starter.</li>
<li>Forklift experience.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.</li>
</ul>

<li>Manufacturing Coordinator I: $19.00 - $25.00</li>
<li>Manufacturing Coordinator II: $22.00 - $30.00</li>
<li>Senior Manufacturing Coordinator: $28.00 - $38.00</li>
