If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.</p></div><p>Vast is looking for a <strong>Operations &amp; Productions Specialist, Experiences</strong>, reporting to the<strong> Senior Manager, Experience </strong>to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of human-rated space stations.</p>
<p>This will be a <strong>full-time</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>exempt</strong>&nbsp;located in our&nbsp;<strong>Long Beach </strong>location.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>End-to-end production of experiences: design development, fabrication, logistics, installation, live operation, and teardown</li>
<li>Day-to-day performance and evolution of HQ experiences, ensuring they remain operational, compelling, and forward-looking</li>
<li>Roadshow deployments—leading teams to execute seamless builds and breakdowns across multiple locations</li>
<li>Technical systems across experiences, including power, HVAC, AV, and interactive elements</li>
<li>Partner with S&amp;R to plan and execute site logistics—from surveys to generator/HVAC setup and compliance</li>
<li>Own vendor and fabricator relationships, pushing for quality, speed, and innovation</li>
<li>Familiarity with union labor environments and large-scale venue builds</li>
<li>Strong technical fluency (power, HVAC, structures, AV, or similar hands-on systems)</li>
<li>Ability to lead onsite labor teams and make decisions quickly under pressure</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and problem-solve in real time during event execution</li>
</ul>
<p><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">Additional Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to travel up to 30% of the time</li>
<li>Willingness to work overtime or weekends to support events</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted</li>
</ul>
<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></span></h2>
<ul>
<li>Experience working on large-scale or high-visibility events</li>
<li>Familiarity with technical production (AV, staging, lighting, fabrication, power management)</li>
<li>Experience in aerospace, tech, or highly regulated industries</li>
<li>Forklift certified</li>

<li>Operations &amp; Production Specialist, Experiences I| (Exempt) : $86,000 - $120,000</li>
</ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="line-height: 1;"><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS<br></strong><br>Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
