State Street Investment Management Investments Professional Development Program (PDP) is a leadership rotational program designed to develop entry level employees within State Street Investment Management organization. The program has several focus areas, sponsored by key business lines and is designed to provide key learning and growth opportunities, along with a deeper understanding of State Street Investment Management’s business.
The program extends over 24 months and incorporates specific training, professional development, and rotational assignments across a variety of business areas including portfolio management, operations, strategy and investment research, and across multiple asset classes including fixed income, cash, equities, and asset allocation. Customized rotations are designed to provide hands-on experience in different roles and business activities to help program participants develop analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of each business area and the overall asset management industry.
Successful program participants will be placed into permanent roles upon program completion where the collective knowledge, skills and experience gained through the program can be applied.
Program Highlights:
Two years: four, six-month rotational assignments across State Street Investment Management key business areas. Cross-functional rotational job assignments designed to accelerate the development of critical industry knowledge, skills, and experience
Executive mentoring and networking events
Access to training courses on financial markets and essential business skills
PDPs will benefit from not only structured PDP and corporate training but also hands on exposure
Upon successful completion of final projects, PDP will be offered positions in available, appropriate “officer level” roles
Qualifications:
Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (for July 2027 intake)
Strong interest in financial services; ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
Demonstrated experience with or interest in data and analytics preferred
Change management and innovative mindset, demonstrated problem solving ability
Enthusiasm for learning and commitment to career development
Versatility, adaptability and comfort with ambiguity
Ability to work independently while also adopting a collaborative approach to achieving results.

Salary Range:
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
