Position Description
Shutts & Bowen is seeking a mid to senior-level associate to join our prominent Land Use and Zoning Practice. The role focuses on advising developers, property owners and investors on zoning, land use and development-related matters, including site plan and entitlement considerations, permitting and regulatory compliance. The associate will work closely with clients and project teams to navigate local and state government processes and provide strategic guidance on development risk and regulatory positioning. The attorney will be resident in either our Miami or Fort Lauderdale office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an associate seeking meaningful responsibility and exposure to a broad range of land use and development matters within a well-established practice. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience practicing land use and zoning law. Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills are required, along with admission to the Florida Bar. Strong academic record preferred.
