Salesforce is standing up a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer function, a model borrowed from frontier AI labs and Palantir, to embed engineers inside customer environments to build Agentforce agents, signaling that selling agentic AI now requires hands-on, custom engineering delivery rather than self-serve software.
To get the best candidate experience, please consider applying for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months to ensure you are not duplicating efforts.

About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Experience
Salesforce is hiring a Portfolio Leader to directly manage and grow a team of technical AI specialists deploying Agentforce solutions inside complex customer environments. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can drive engineering excellence while operating at the executive level. This is not a traditional people manager, but a mission-critical multiplier on the agentic frontier. You will lead a blended delivery team made up of two specialist functions: Forward Deployed Engineers (Technical Builders - who design, build, and deploy AI Agents directly in customer environments) and Deployment Strategists (Strategic Builders - customer-facing advisors who shape AI strategy, define use cases, and drive adoption). Together, these teams work alongside customers to co-build and deliver agentic AI solutions on a single large enterprise account or across multiple engagements simultaneously. You'll set the engineering standards, unblock complex customer deployments, and scale the talent that's shipping production AI today.
Production leadership required. Builder mindset non-negotiable.
