About the Role&nbsp;
This role owns&nbsp;internal communications&nbsp;for Relativity Space, developing high-impact communications&nbsp;strategies&nbsp;and deliverables&nbsp;that&nbsp;keep employees informed, aligned, and connected to the company's mission, priorities, and milestones.&nbsp;Through thoughtful messaging,&nbsp;you'll&nbsp;help employees understand&nbsp;what&nbsp;we're&nbsp;building,&nbsp;why it matters and,&nbsp;how their work contributes to our collective&nbsp;success.&nbsp;The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable&nbsp;leader&nbsp;with strong instincts, executive presence, and the ability to shift seamlessly between&nbsp;long-term communications planning&nbsp;and real-time, high-stakes communications.&nbsp;As the Director of Internal Communications,&nbsp;you’ll:&nbsp;

<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Shape narratives that connect technical progress, organizational priorities, and business decisions into&nbsp;clear, engaging narratives&nbsp;that build alignment and trust across&nbsp;diverse&nbsp;internal&nbsp;audiences.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Draft and manage executive communications, including All Hands content, leadership updates, organizational announcements, and sensitive or time-critical messaging.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Build and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a unified editorial calendar spanning internal channels (Slack, intranet, newsletters, video updates)&nbsp;and work with the external communications team to ensure alignment with&nbsp;external platforms.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Partner with subject matter experts across engineering, manufacturing, operations, HR, and leadership to surface stories that reflect Relativity’s innovation, progress, and culture&nbsp;to&nbsp;retain&nbsp;and inspire current employees while attracting new talent.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Drive voice and tone standards across written communications, ensuring consistency across internal touchpoints.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support change management and transformation initiatives through thoughtful, structured&nbsp;change management&nbsp;communication&nbsp;protocols&nbsp;and&nbsp;communications that build clarity, trust, and alignment.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Collaborate with designers&nbsp;and&nbsp;producers to translate written content into compelling visual, video, and multimedia assets.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support real-time issues, crisis communications, and fast-moving developments with sound judgment and a risk-aware lens.&nbsp;</li>

About You&nbsp;
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, or a related field.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">10+ years of experience across editorial, corporate communications, content strategy, or related roles.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proven ability to work directly with senior leaders and executives, including drafting or ghostwriting executive communications.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong editorial judgment with the ability to simplify complex, technical information without losing accuracy or nuance.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience supporting organizational change, major initiatives, or moments of heightened sensitivity through clear and effective communications.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</li>
