Regent is moving from prototype to production and building commercial sales and market-modeling capacity for its Seaglider wing-in-ground-effect craft, signaling that it is preparing to sell coastal transport routes globally rather than remain a pure engineering project.
At REGENT, we’re on a mission to revolutionize regional transportation between coastal cities. We're not just building vehicles, we're creating a new category of transportation: the Seaglider. These groundbreaking wing-in-ground-effect craft travel just above the water’s surface, combining the speed of an airplane with the low operating costs of a boat. Capable of 180 miles at 180 mph on today's battery tech (and up to 400 miles with next-gen batteries), Seagliders will unlock fast, affordable, and sustainable coastal transit for passengers and cargo - connecting cities, islands, and communities like never before.
Backed by leading investors and powered by a team of passionate, forward-thinking engineers, builders, and operators, we’re now scaling from a breakthrough prototype to full production - and building the team to make it happen.
As a Commercial BD Data Intern at REGENT, you'll work hand in hand with both the Business Development and the Engineering team to bring to life data-driven tools and models that predict the cost, efficiency, and feasibility of Seagliders around the world!
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to develop internal tools to better inform our potential market, the vehicle's performance, and the costs associated with bringing a new technology to life, as well as to create client-facing materials used to sell Seagliders around the globe.
In this position, you'll get the best of both worlds: the opportunity to take the lead on some long-term data-intensive projects while also assisting with short-turnaround materials to support the sales team. You will use your technical background while staying close to clients, gaining valuable insight into their wants, needs, and concerns.
