The day-to-day work is designing and building agentic pipelines, where LLM-driven agents autonomously plan and execute multi-step operational workflows inside enterprise processes. This is a distinct engineering discipline that barely existed before the recent wave of tool-using language models, rather than a renamed automation or RPA role.
