Job Description
We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join Procore’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D Visualization business unit. In this role, you’ll drive cross-team software delivery, map complex dependencies, and mitigate execution risks across multiple engineering teams without direct people-management authority. The primary goal of this role is to ensure our high-performance, browser-based 3D viewer and BIM platform scales seamlessly to support global construction projects.
As a Technical Project Manager , you’ll partner with engineering, product leadership, and international teams to sequence technical requirements, unblock cross-team dependencies, and maintain a clear, predictable delivery roadmap. Use your strong technical depth, proactive risk management, and agile leadership skills to accelerate the development of Procore's core BIM strategy and deliver real-time 3D visualization capabilities to millions of global users.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Engineering and will be based in our Stavanger, Norway office.
What you’ll do:
Drives cross-team delivery for a defined program or set of workstreams, owning the execution plan across the teams involved alongside engineering and product leadership.
Maps and actively manages technical dependencies between multiple engineering teams to ensure no work streams stall.
Tracks and reports program delivery health by owning timelines, metrics, and high-visibility status updates for leadership.
Manages risk and change by maintaining a live risk picture, driving mitigation strategies, and renegotiating scope or timing when engineering realities shift.
Breaks complex technical requirements down into a sensible, phased execution sequence.
Holds their own in technical trade-off and architecture discussions with engineers developing WebGL2, WebGPU, WebAssembly, and cloud-streaming technologies.
Supports agile ways of working by facilitating planning, reviews, and retrospectives, occasionally covering Scrum Master duties for a team when needed.
Leads through influence, building cross-functional alignment and holding teams to their commitments without having a direct reporting line.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred; equivalent practical software delivery experience is welcome.
Minimum of 4–7 years of experience in technical program, delivery, or project management, ideally within a fast-paced software or SaaS environment.
Experience with proficient dependency mapping, and hands-on experience utilizing delivery tools like Jira or Linear.
Technical understanding to follow architectural trade-offs; previous experience as a developer, QA, solutions engineer, or working with BIM/3D visualization is a major plus.
Highly collaborative, comfortable navigating ambiguity, adept at leading through influence, and deeply rooted in an iterative, Agile mindset.
Scrum/Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, CSM, or SAFe) or traditional project management certifications (PMP) are strongly preferred.

Base Pay Range:
