The Position Keeper is a front office position within the Commercial Renewables Trading organization that is responsible for monitoring and managing market exposure associated with renewable fuels and feedstocks. The primary role is to complete daily bench exposure calculations & reports for the renewables trading desk, including formulation of hedging programmes for physical cargoes and storage positions, and assisting traders with recurring and adhoc tasks to efficiently operate the business and generate income. This position will spend approximately 75% of their time performing the above responsibilities.
Secondary, provide market analysis reports and work with the relevant Global Trading Strategist and other Market Analysts to provide short term forward market views for relevant trading markets.
This position is an excellent opportunity to learn the foundations of Physical and Financial commodity Trading and should provide a solid platform for development into future Commercial roles.
This position is also expected to provide cover for and work with other Position Keeper roles across the trading floor as required.
