The Creative Project Manager plays a critical leadership role in the execution and delivery of high-impact content across Social, Digital Commerce, and Branded Content initiatives within our North America Fabric Care team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the entire content lifecycle from end-to-end, from strategic planning and resource allocation to successful launch and performance analysis. This includes ensuring all content is delivered on time, on brand and aligned with business and channel requirements.
You will leverage your strong organizational and communication skills to take on greater responsibility. This includes ownership of project strategy, complex risk mitigation, advanced stakeholder alignment, and project team guidance, ensuring that content initiatives not only meet deadlines but also drive key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of content projects from intake through launch across social, digital commerce and marketing channels.
- Develop project plans to define scope, objectives, detailed resource requirements, work back schedules, and success metrics for complex content initiatives
- Manage expectations, facilitate critical decisions, and proactively communicate project status, potential impacts, and strategic adjustments as the primary liaison between Marketing, Communications, Design and external partners.
- Prepare and lead project kick offs and status meetings. Facilitate reviews, approvals and stakeholder communications.
- Provide clear direction and facilitate decision-making within project teams.
- Leverage project budgets and briefings to optimize resource allocation and workstreams across creative and production resources. Make informed recommendations to leadership regarding resource needs and budget adjustments to ensure efficient content production.
- Independently identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies. Develop and implement contingency plans to address challenges, unblock obstacles, and ensure project continuity and successful delivery.
- Support and inform the implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability across content initiatives.
- Monitor content performance metrics and help communicate insights and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Champion the effective use of project management tools and methodologies to enhance planning, tracking, and reporting for all content projects.
Job Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in project management, content creation, creative operations, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion.
- Expertise in managing projects for social media, digital commerce, content creation or marketing initiatives.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align diverse groups and drive consensus on critical project decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management experience in a creative agency
- Understanding of working with creators and influencers is a plus
- Exposure to working with video production, the process, and managing projects in this space.
