The Trust Administrator is a skilled fiduciary professional and key member in managing a book of business, including Trusts, estate, retirement, and investment management accounts. The role is expected to compliment the overall client experience through excellence in client service and communication. The Administrator works with a Trust Advisor on the relationship management and administration of clients’ accounts, which involves independent thinking, problem solving, communicating with clients, processing requests, and providing information to investment advisors, tax accountants, and trustees. And our rigorous standards assure you are part of a diverse team of top talent at every turn.If you’re someone who’s looking toward the future, we’d love to hear from you.Location: Boston, MAWorks closely with Trust Advisor, trustees and/or responsible attorneys and has direct client contact.Manages a book of easy and moderate accounts, while supporting the Trust Advisor’s book of complex accounts.Establishes and executes various beneficiary distributions and client bill paying (wire, ACH or check).Works in a team environment to provide high level service to team, portfolio managers, tax professionals and trust operation specialists who all share in the servicing of client relationships.Establishes and fosters relationships with outside brokers, banks, and other financial institutions.Establishes new accounts on the trust accounting system with ongoing review and maintenance of accounts to ensure that all assigned accounts are in compliance with security standards, policies and procedures. Monitors daily cash balances and prior day transactions.Executes and monitors various asset transfers and receipts.Reviews various trust documents periodically to ensure continued compliance and adherence to client wishes.Promptly addresses all questions arising from team, clients, trustees, co-trustees and beneficiaries, as well as internal departments regarding the administration and fiduciary activities of assigned accounts.Resolves problems with assigned accounts and assists others in account administration.Reviews, interprets, and helps implement policies and procedures within compliance and departmental guidelines.Performs additional departmental tasks which include, but are not limited to, fee set-up and calculations, asset valuations and vendor disputes.Perform other duties as assigned.
