Billing Coordinator

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for preparing bills and providing support to assigned billing attorneys. And our rigorous standards assure you are part of a diverse team of top talent at every turn.If you’re someone who’s looking toward the future, we’d love to hear from you.Location: Rochester, NYPrepare and distribute monthly pre-bills to assigned billing attorneys and practice assistants.Implement instructed revisions, transfers, rate changes and other requested billing adjustments.Prepare and submit invoices to clients.Provide billing research for current and past bills upon request.Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and assist billing attorneys with minimizing unbilled WIP.Conduct detailed analysis of accounting and billing issues to reconcile discrepancies.Work collaboratively with collections to minimize accounts receivable issues and credit balances.Answer and respond to billing questions promptly.Monitor and respond to Billing Help Desk requests.Provide back-up assistance as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential job responsibility listed above, satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
