The Practice Group Support Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and business development support for the Construction & Real Estate Litigation practice group. This position supports a dynamic team of attorneys and paralegals by managing information systems, assisting with client billing, and performing essential administrative tasks. The initial training period requires an onsite schedule, 5 days in office, Monday through Friday. The anticipated work schedule will be 9AM - 5:30PM PT. And our rigorous standards assure you are part of a diverse team of top talent at every turn.If you’re someone who’s looking toward the future, we’d love to hear from you.Location: San Francisco, CAManage various aspects of document collection, creation and review, including drafting initial versions, updating content, proofing for spelling/grammar errors, redlining revisions, and preparing redacted versions of legal documents.Maintain proposal systems, experience databases, form files, templates, and other departmental information warehouses.Order, organize, and maintain documents and client files, ensuring proper filing and setup. Prepare correspondence and materials as directed by attorneys.Manage engagement letters, including processing conflicts and new business forms, and monitor related communication for incoming clients.Handle client billing workflows and support year-end collection efforts in conjunction with the billing team.Support training and integration of new team members, ensuring smooth onboarding.Serve as a point of contact.Support business development initiatives and assist with event follow-up.Coordinate department team meetings and agendas.Perform other duties as assigned.To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential job responsibility listed above, satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
