Why this role is notable
Monday.com is treating customer enablement itself as an AI-run system, with agents delivering onboarding, simulations, and certifications, signaling that its own education and training function is being rebuilt around the same AI-agent product it sells.
Job Description
monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.
Enabling our teams in this new era requires a genuinely different approach. We're setting out to pioneer enablement that's innovative, hands-on, and deep enough to actually change how teams work — not just add another course to the pile. Come help us define and build it.
monday.com is becoming an AI Work Platform, and our mission is to lead that shift through how people learn, consume knowledge, and become true platform and business experts. This role builds the AI-first solutions that make that possible.
Our team decides what the customer org needs to know and how it should learn it. You build the systems that deliver it — and you own.
About The Role
Build the AI backbone. Knowledge agents and their modes, agentic onboarding, AI simulations, AI-run certifications, content generation at scale, automated comms, and knowledge application analytics. Eight live components today, and a roadmap with room for more.
Own the health of the system. Not just shipping — reliability, accuracy, cost, and uptime on infrastructure the entire customer organization depends on. This is the part of the job nobody else can do for you.
Scope before you commit. Analyze what's technically and economically possible, tell us honestly what a capability will cost to run, and say when something shouldn't be built at all.
Turn business problems into build specs. Take a requirement at 30,000 feet — business logic, audience, desired end experience — and come back with something buildable, sequenced MVP first.
Rally the stakeholders. An agent nobody adopts is a failed build. Getting there means data access, named content owners, permissions, and the right questions asked of the right people — often before anyone sees a line of code.
Create AI solutions that address business needs — how teams learn, consume knowledge, and get trained.
Go deep on monday's product and the business mindset behind each problem, so what you build is grounded in what's actually true, not just what's documented.
Demo and explain what you build — stand in front of the team you built it for, show them how and why it works, and drive real adoption.
Work constantly across different stakeholders to bridge business and product gaps - including Product / Builders, Client Facing and CCO teams.
Partner with engineering. Work with BigBrain and BizApps where a build exceeds what one person should carry — and document and architect so that nothing critical depends on you alone.
Requirements
Genuine, hands-on experience building with AI tools — Claude, LLMs, agents, no-code AI tooling, monday —AI products.
Comfort working project-based — dropping into an unfamiliar business problem, ramping fast, and moving on once it's solved.
Strong product and systems thinking — you get to the truth of how something works, not just what's documented.
Real business and customer judgment — you can diagnose what's actually blocking a team or customer, and know it's usually not "we need more content."
A builder's instinct — you'd rather ship a rough working version this week than a polished spec next quarter.
Comfort explaining and demoing what you've built in front of a room, even though this isn't a facilitation-first role.
A scrappy, hungry, high-ownership drive to make visible impact — motivated by building things that matter, not by process or polish.
What monday.com can offer you:
Join a customer-obsessed team where transparency and ownership are how we actually operate - not just things we put on a wall
Work on a multi-product suite powered by advanced AI, where what you ship reaches hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide
Competitive salary, benefits, bonus potential, and equity eligibility for many roles — we believe people should share in our success
Grow fast through a dedicated L&D team, AI workshops, bootcamps, and internal hackathons - the industry moves quick and so do we
A collaborative, global culture backed by Employee Resource Groups and workplace teams across New York, Tel Aviv, London, Munich, Warsaw, Tokyo, Sydney, and more
