Job Summary:

Our Technology & Outsourcing practice group is seeking an associate with at least 6 years of experience to join their team. You will lead complex commercial transactions focusing on blockchain/crypto matters. You must have deep crypto knowledge and strong technology transactions experience. M&A experience in the crypto space is a plus.

We are open to staffing this role in our Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York offices.

Qualifications

Significant crypto/blockchain knowledge and experience

2-5 years of experience in technology transactions and commercial contracting (preferably at a law firm)

Must be barred in the jurisdiction where you will practice

Key Competencies:

Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment required

Excellent contract drafting skills

Comfort using AI legal tools

Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills

Exercises good judgment

Demonstrated record of excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of information

Ability to issue, spot, and summarize key points succinctly

Expected Pay Range for Associates: 2026/2025 Class Compensation Years: $235,000

2024 Class Compensation Years: $245,000

2023 Class Compensation Years: $270,000

2022 Class Compensation Years: $320,000

2021 Class Compensation Years: $385,000

2020 Class Compensation Years: $410,000

2019 Class Compensation Years: $440,000

2018 and more senior class compensation years: $455,000
