MAU is hiring a Platform Supervisor in Beech Island, SC. As a Platform Supervisor, you will lead and manage operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and talent development objectives for MAU associates supporting operations at the client’s facility.

- Ability to lead and direct the activities of 15–50 hourly MAU associates
- Ability to collaborate effectively with MAU branch personnel, onsite personnel, MAU associates, corporate support teams, and customer leadership
- Supervise MAU associates assigned to specific assets within a rotating-shift operation
- Coordinate flow-to-work scheduling based on production requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert for operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure processes meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) standards
- Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Manage multiple raw materials with critical process variables that require consistent control
- Provide leadership to associates within the assigned Platform and across the Mill
- Sustain and support Leader Standard Work
- Assist with conflict resolution between employees and the customer and among employees
- Coach, train, and mentor MAU employees within the department
- Manage on-shift safety issues, injuries, property damage, and personnel incident reporting
- Maintain security compliance
- Complete post-accident reporting and coordinate required drug screens
- Supervise Platform operations with safety as the top priority
- Support Platform profitability by controlling costs and managing workforce levels to meet customer needs
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve operational excellence and reduce costs
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Investigate material damage and shortages
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), dress code requirements, and MAU policies
- Update communication boards and address issues identified as “Red”
- Conduct employee attendance counseling
- Maintain payroll and KRONOS records
- Participate actively in Simple Problem Solving
- Serve as a key resource during daily KC meetings
- Complete special customer requests as needed
- Support daily operations by operating a lift truck when needed
- Work is performed within customer facilities in both administrative and manufacturing environments
- Typical working conditions include manufacturing and warehouse settings with process manufacturing equipment and heavy-powered industrial vehicles
- Work environments may range from non-air-conditioned hot or cold conditions to GMP clean-room environments
- Ability to walk up to 8 miles per day, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Occasional travel may be required, limited to less than 25 miles per month
