Private Client Services Associate (2-4 years) – San Jose, CA; Redwood Shores, CA

Lathrop GPM is actively seeking an associate to join our Private Client Services practice group in San Jose or Redwood Shores.  Candidates need to have two to four years of estate planning experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in all aspects of clients’ family, financial, business and tax matters, including gift and estate tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning, and family succession planning. They will also possess an active California attorney bar license, strong academic credentials, and demonstrate exceptional analytical and writing abilities, and outstanding interpersonal skills.

The practice group works closely with individuals, families, and their professional advisors across the United States to accomplish their personal, financial, and philanthropic goals. The group's clients include executives, entrepreneurs, ultra-high net worth families, family offices, owners of family-owned and privately held businesses, banks and trust companies, and charitable organizations.

 The current anticipated salary range is $145,000+. Actual initial salary may be above or below the identified range and will be based on relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors consistent with applicable law. A full comprehensive benefit plan is provided and includes health care, retirement plan, parental leave, and short/long term disability.
