Tort, Insurance & Environmental Staff Attorney (2-4 years) - Chicago, IL

Lathrop GPM is actively seeking a staff attorney with 2-4 years’ experience in product liability defense to join our growing Tort Insurance & Environmental practice group in our Chicago office.

Candidates should have a J.D. from an accredited law school, an active Illinois law license (Missouri law license a plus) and be in good standing, strong academic credentials, strong research, writing, and analytical abilities, excellent client service skills, outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Deposition and court appearance experience are ideal but not required.

The current anticipated salary range is $110,000 to $120,000. Actual initial salary may be above or below the identified ranges and will be based on relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors consistent with applicable law. A full comprehensive benefit plan is provided and includes health care, retirement plan, parental leave, and short/long term disability.
