About the Role
The Legal AI Innovation Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Innovation team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Special Technical Projects section, while collecting, organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data to support technical projects overseen by the Manager of Legal Innovation and broader team initiatives. This role will be located in our Global Services Office based in downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining automated and semi‑automated workflows, and performing manual tasks as needed when full automation is not feasible
Testing features and workflows within the firm’s AI and legal technology tools, particularly Harvey, and documenting results while providing feedback
Supporting research and development efforts to identify opportunities for AI enhancement and understand system limitations
Staying current with advances in artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and legal technology applications
Working closely with the Manager of Legal Innovation to ensure alignment with broader AI innovation objectives
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly, with a willingness to develop expertise in emerging AI tools and platforms
Exhibit the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, technology colleagues, and administrative staff
And have:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in technology roles or other business services positions requiring significant technical skills, preferably

USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
