Why this role is notable
JPMorgan is creating a newly established Perth coverage seat focused on ASX Top 300 Natural Resources clients, signaling a deliberate bet on deepening its corporate banking presence in Western Australia's resources economy rather than relying on Sydney- or Melbourne-based coverage.
