Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking enthusiastic interns who are eager to gain valuable experience in the fields of Financial Markets and Corporate Transactions. We offer an opportunity for you to work with our attorneys on interesting transactions and gain transactional experience on the job.
Responsibilities include: Attend due diligence interviews; perform legal due diligence work; perform precedent and other ad-hoc legal research; prepare English-Chinese translation of legal documents; assist in preparing closing checklists, performing junior level legal work under the supervision of attorneys and organize
client meetings and taking minutes.
Required Qualifications:
• Holders of a recognized law degree.
• Must have the right to work in Hong Kong (i.e. no need for a work visa or possess a valid work visa)
• Excellent command of written and verbal English and Mandarin.
• Strong communication skills and great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and driven environment.
• Occasional travel to the PRC may be required.
• Immediate or near term availability preferred.
