The Role

Our Melbourne office is seeking a strong litigator with 2-6 years’ experience who is keen to work on some of the largest and most complex matters in Australia and internationally. While this role sits in our Melbourne office, you will be joining an integrated Global Disputes team.

We are seeking candidates with:

• a strong background in commercial litigation and/or regulatory investigations and enforcement;

• an excellent academic transcript;

• an ability to confidently communicate with others across the firm and a pragmatic, friendly and down-to-earth approach;

• a commitment to working in a team.

Our Global Disputes Practice

Our Australian Global Disputes team services high-end, high-value and strategically significant litigation and investigations for major global and Australian clients.

Our Global Disputes team has recently acted on:

• A large number of high value and strategically significant contract/commercial disputes and arbitrations.

• Class action defence and resolution.

• Royal Commissions and Parliamentary inquiries.

• Investigations and enforcement actions by ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC, ACCC, law enforcement and various corruption investigation bodies.

• Globally significant test case litigation brought by the Australian Government.

• Sensitive internal investigations for major corporate clients spanning fraud, corruption and misconduct allegations.
