Responsibilities
Design and develop significant technology initiatives end to end from conception to delivery
Ensure the highest standards for engineering design, implementation, and testing
Collaborate closely with peers, cross-functional teams and business units to define, prioritize, sequence and scope business and functional requirements and drive results
Accurately scope effort, identify risks and clearly communicate trade-offs with team members and other stakeholders
Provide technical leadership and be a role model in the team
Stay aware of industry trends and make technology choices and strategic decisions
Mentor engineers on technology, process, people, and product skills
Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or related area
7+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments
High energy, self-starter with a positive mindset and with a 'can do' attitude
Strong OOD and coding skills with Java Spring Boot, J2EE, REST, SOAP, JSON
Strong experience leading architecture design and implementation of robust and highly scalable web services
Skilled in software development lifecycle processes. Experience with SCRUM and Agile Development
Experience in leveraging Amazon Web Services for building scalable applications
Strong mentoring skills. Able to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
Experience in making successful trade-offs that balance the short- and long-term product goals
Passionate about mastering Fintech technologies and tackling challenges through innovative solutions

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Mountain View $202,500 - $274,000
