Credit Karma is a personal finance app with over 130 million members in the US, Canada, and UK. We work hard to provide members with free access to their credit scores, credit reports, credit monitoring, and financial product recommendations. Our mission is to champion financial progress for all. We are looking for a Manager 3, Performance Marketing to own and scale our paid acquisition channels, driving both new member growth and revenue targets. This is a high-impact leadership role that sits at the intersection of performance marketing, organic search, and data-driven strategy. You will lead a team of channel experts and partner cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Finance, and Brand to build scalable growth programs. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Growth Marketing for Intuit Credit Karma.
Responsibilities
Channel Ownership & Strategy
Own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance of all paid acquisition channels - including Paid Search (SEM), Paid Social, Display, Programmatic, Native, Linear TV, OTT/CTV, and Affiliate
Define the channel investment roadmap and prioritize spend allocation to maximize new member growth and revenue contribution
Set channel-level KPIs and OKRs aligned to new member and revenue targets; hold the team accountable to results
Drive a by channel roadmap, with testing and optimizations, along with the channel lead
Team Leadership
Oversee, direct, and mentor a team of10-14 channel managers, fostering a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Partner with recruiting to scale the team as the channel portfolio grows
Performance & Analytics
Own overacting view of channel reporting and dashboards; translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership
Partner with Data Science and Analytics to develop incrementality measurement frameworks across paid channels
Drive rigorous A/B testing across creative, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience targeting
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with the Product Marketing team on go-to-market strategy for new product launches
Partner with Product - embedding in product planning cycles to help inform GTM strategy, co-own post-click funnel performance, and close the loop between acquisition quality and downstream member activation and revenue
Partner with the Brand team to maintain consistency across paid creative and continually test new messaging
Consistently align with Growth Tech on Martech stack across all tracking and measurement needs
Work with Finance on budget planning, forecasting, and ROI modeling
Align with the Owned & Lifecycle Marketing team to ensure cohesive full-funnel member journeys
Budget & Vendor Management
Manage a multi-million dollar paid media budget with accountability for efficiency and performance
Negotiate and manage relationships with media partners, agencies, and technology vendors
Qualifications
Required
10+ years of growth or performance marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a people management role
Deep expertise in paid acquisition channels (TV/OTT/CTV, SEM, Paid Social, OLV, Programmatic, Affiliate)
Proven track record of scaling paid and organic programs to hit aggressive member acquisition and revenue targets
Strong analytical skills - comfortable working with large data sets, building business cases, and presenting to senior leadership
Experience managing multi-million dollar media budgets
Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
Preferred
Experience in fintech, consumer tech, or DTC products
Familiarity with incrementality testing methodologies (e.g., geo holdout, PSA testing) and media mix modeling
Hands-on experience with paid platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk)
MBA or equivalent analytical degree

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Oakland $213,500 - $289,000
