Job Description
As the Staff Product Manager for Field Service Industry Workflows, you will own Intuit Enterprise Suite’s end-to-end financial workflows for mid-market field service companies. Your mission is to deeply understand how these businesses operate - from job costing and dispatch to billing, payroll, inventory, and cash flow - and transform those workflows into an AI-native financial system that works the way they do.
You are accountable for solving the real-world financial jobs-to-be-done for field service operators, technicians, finance leaders, and owners. You will map their workflows end-to-end, identify friction and fragmentation, and design intelligent, autonomous experiences that proactively manage their financial operations.
You will move beyond an accounting tool to build a system of action and intelligence, one that embeds AI directly into industry-specific workflows to automate decisions, surface insights, and drive confident outcomes in real time.
Responsibilities
Map and redesign the financial lifecycle of field service - from job costing and project accounting to inventory and payroll - into a seamless, automated experience.
Deeply understand the friction points for mid-market owners, CFOs, and dispatchers to build solutions that solve their specific 'hair-on-fire' problems.
Embed AI directly into workflows for anomaly detection, margin analysis, and cash flow forecasting, shifting the user from data entry to decision-making.
Design agents that proactively manage working capital and financial risk, ensuring AI augments human judgment with high-confidence, transparent recommendations.
Connect operational data (dispatch, labor utilization, CRM) with financial systems to ensure real-time visibility into job profitability.
Design workflow-first experiences that reduce manual data syncing and close the gap between the field and the back office.
Own the field service strategy within IES, balancing foundational ERP needs with high-value industry differentiators.
Move beyond feature shipping to drive measurable customer success (reducing Days Sales Outstanding, expanding margins, and eliminating revenue leakage).
Redefine the onboarding experience with industry-aware configurations that align to how customers actually run their crews and jobs.
Qualifications
8+ years in product management, ideally with experience owning complex, multi-step business workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven ability to deconstruct operational processes and translate them into scalable software solutions.
Strong track record of identifying unmet customer needs and delivering measurable business impact.
Experience working directly with mid-market businesses or industry verticals.
Field service industry experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction-adjacent services) is a plus, but not required.
Experience productizing AI/ML capabilities into real customer workflows.
Ability to design intelligent automation, predictive insights, or autonomous agents that solve real operational problems.
Comfortable working with data science and engineering teams to ship AI-driven features.
Understanding of core financial concepts (job costing, revenue recognition, WIP, payroll, inventory, cash flow).
Ability to bridge operational and financial systems into a unified experience.
Experience driving clarity and alignment across a matrixed organization.
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
Comfortable balancing long-term industry strategy with near-term delivery.
