Job Description
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
As the Staff Product Manager for IES Shared Experiences & First Time Use, you will own the surfaces that every Intuit Enterprise Suite customer touches: homepage, search, navigation, and settings. You will also own the First Time Use experience that gets new customers up and running, in close partnership with the services and education teams who support customers through that journey.
Your mission is to make these surfaces feel like one intelligent, coherent product rather than a collection of static screens. As IES evolves toward an AI-native platform, shared experiences and First Time Use are where customers first feel that shift: a homepage that surfaces what matters instead of asking users to go find it, a setup experience that gets smarter with every customer it guides, and navigation that adapts rather than staying fixed. This requires strong systems thinking, an eye for where AI can quietly remove friction rather than just add a feature, and the ability to bring multiple teams along on a shared vision.
Responsibilities
Modernize the Product's Front Door: Own the roadmap for homepage, search, navigation, and settings, evolving them from static surfaces into an intelligent layer that helps customers get to what they need with less effort.
Redefine First Time Use: Own the First Time Use and setup experience for new customers, designed in close coordination with services and education, and increasingly shaped by AI-driven guidance that accelerates a customer's path to a business-ready configuration.
Design for a Coherent Journey: Ensure First Time Use and everyday product experience are built consistently, so the intelligence customers encounter during setup carries through into how they navigate and use the product every day.
Bring an AI-Native Lens: Identify where AI can make shared surfaces and First Time Use more personalized and less effortful, and build the roadmap and partnerships needed to get there responsibly.
Prioritize Across Horizons: Balance near-term usability improvements with longer-term platform investments, and communicate tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Represent First Time Use and shared experiences together in planning discussions, working closely with design, engineering, and service partners so the two are never treated as separate workstreams.
Qualifications
8-10 years in Product Management , ideally with experience owning a platform-level shared experience (navigation, search, settings) or a First Time Use/activation experience in a B2B or enterprise product.
Comfort with AI-Driven Product Design: Some experience or strong point of view on how AI/ML can personalize or simplify a user experience, even if not a deep technical background.
Systems Thinker: Ability to design for consistency across a complex product with many surfaces and user types.
Masterful Collaborator: Proven ability to align multiple teams, including service and education partners, around a shared roadmap without relying on top-down mandates.
Clear Communicator: Able to turn ambiguous, cross-functional discussions into clear plans and documents.
Enterprise Fluency: Experience with enterprise or mid-market B2B software, and an understanding of what makes complex products feel simple.
High-Conviction Leader: Adept at using 'Inside-Out' customer insights and 'Outside-In' market shifts to drive long-term platform investments.
