Job Description
The New York Corporate Practice is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (3–6 years of experience) to join a market-leading and wide-ranging corporate law team with particular emphasis on private equity transactions, private and public mergers and acquisitions, including special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) transactions and cross-border transactions, growth equity and venture capital transactions, distressed and bankruptcy acquisitions, and other complex corporate matters.
The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience advising private equity sponsors, strategic buyers and sellers, and emerging growth companies in a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions.
The associate will play a key role in all phases of transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating acquisition and investment agreements and related transaction documents; managing due diligence processes; coordinating with tax, benefits, IP, employment, real estate, and other specialist teams; interacting directly with clients; and assisting with transaction execution, closings, and post-closing matters.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, drafting, and project management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

The expected pay range for this position is:
Comp: $260,000 - $390,000
Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
