Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a full-time employment opportunity for a 2nd – 4th year Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice in our Philadelphia office. This Associate will work closely with Shareholders across the firm ’s more than 50 offices , assisting in complex employment litigation and counseling capacities. This Associate will also have the opportunity to interact regularly with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries. Job Requirements: Ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in an employment-specific, defense-side role, with a focus on complex litigation involving wage and hour , discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodations, and other employment claims; experience advising employers on compliance issues relating to leaves of absence, performance management, wage and hour compliance, and terminations; and drafting personnel policies and employment agreements. Class and collective action experience is a plus. Qualified candidates will have solid academic performance in law school, strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability, desire and initiative to take ownership over work and career. Candidates must be in good standing with the PA State Bar; NJ admission also preferred.
