As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Manage complex and large scale Software (SW) projects. Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders.
Remove obstacles to drive momentum, progress and results. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities.
Understand technical implementation and propose technical alternatives when necessary. Ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be highly effective. Develop broad domain and technical knowledge.
Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals. Build, maintain and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an engineering or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program management.
Experience in mobile devices, Hardware (HW)/Software (SW)/embedded software and Android software development.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams, with a track record of helping them deliver against a backlog.
Ability to navigate ambiguity by proactively establishing structure, organizing teams, and implementing scalable processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an engineering or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program management.
Experience in mobile devices, Hardware (HW)/Software (SW)/embedded software and Android software development.
