Job Role Description
Location: Majuro Mobil Oil Terminal
Assisting operational activities in the distribution, handling and storage of all products marketed by Mobil Oil Micronesia Inc. (MOMI) in accordance with ExxonMobil’s Safety, Security, Health and Environmental policies, procedures and government regulatory requirements.
Conducting business transactions within the framework of ExxonMobil’s controls philosophy, business ethics standards and statutory mandates.
Implementing efficient and economic operations of the facilities (Majuro Bulk Plant) to attain the best unit cost and returns.
Ensuring on-specification product is safely transferred to and maintained at the storage tanks and truck loading rack.
Providing maintenance at the terminal (Majuro Bulk Plant) and clerical support for product reconciliation, maintenance inspections and KPI reporting.
Maintaining operational safety in accordance with ExxonMobil’s Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements.
Job Role Responsibilities
- Performing work duties in compliance with corporate management systems guidelines.
- Proper tank gauging.
- Product quality efforts (including water draining).
- Equipment/tool calibrations and maintenance conducted as per schedule.
- Maintaining pertinent control documentation.
- Performing and implementing the Upper Pacific Islands Maintenance Inspection System (MIS).
- Pipeline and valve maintenance, loading rack equipment, loading pumps, back-loading pumps, vapor recovery systems, and meters.
- Maintenance and inspection of product transfer hoses and marine cargo hoses.
- Maintenance of oil spill response equipment and updating required inventory and supplies.
- Maintenance of marine transfer stations, docks, and marine lines.
- Maintenance and inspection of product storage tanks and appurtenances.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with practical experience in the petroleum industry.
- Experience and skills in inland, marine, and aviation operations, storage, handling, and distribution standards/procedures.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of facility assets and equipment.
- Technical knowledge of product quality parameters and testing requirements.
- Awareness of legal and government regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in PC software applications.
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
- Possesses supervision and administration skills, along with effective interpersonal and teamwork coordination abilities.
