Direct Hire Maintenance Technician Opportunity

Diverse Staffing is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a full-time direct hire opportunity in East Point, GA. Job Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems

• Inspect equipment and building systems to identify maintenance needs and prevent downtime

• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair records

• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and production systems

• Responding to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns to support daily operations

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, industry, or facility environments

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and equipment documentation

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in food production or manufacturing facilities

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs

• Industrial maintenance certification or related technical training

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb throughout the shift

• Work around moving mechanical equipment and production machinery

• Perform repetitive physical activities during inspections and repairs

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and food production environment

• Exposure to machinery noise and moving equipment

• May work around refrigeration systems and temperature-controlled areas

• Fast-paced environment requiring quick response to equipment issues

• PPE may be required in designated production areas
