If you're passionate about designing secure solutions, influencing change and making a meaningful impact at scale, we'd love to hear from you.

These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.
Connect to your opportunity
You'll partner with stakeholders across technology, security and the business to ensure security is considered early, proportionately and effectively. From emerging technologies and cloud platforms to large-scale transformation programmes, you'll help teams make informed decisions that balance innovation, risk and business value.
This is a role for someone who enjoys influencing outcomes, solving complex challenges and translating security requirements into practical, business-aligned solutions. You'll play a key role in strengthening our security posture while enabling the organisation to embrace new opportunities with confidence.
What you'll have the opportunity to achieve
- Shape the security architecture of strategic technology initiatives, ensuring security is embedded from the earliest stages of design and delivery.
- Influence security standards, architectural patterns and technology roadmaps that support long-term business and cybersecurity objectives.
- Lead security architecture reviews and threat modelling activities that help identify and mitigate risks before they become issues.
- Drive the adoption of modern security practices, reusable design patterns and emerging technologies across the enterprise.
- Provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders, helping them navigate complex security decisions and trade-offs.
- Contribute to the evolution of the organisation's cybersecurity strategy and the continuous improvement of its security capabilities.
- Mentor and support colleagues, helping to develop security expertise and foster a collaborative, high-performing architecture community.

What we're looking for
We're looking for a Cybersecurity Architect who is passionate about helping organisations embed security into technology solutions from the outset. You'll enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders, translating complex security concepts into practical business outcomes, and influencing secure decision-making across a fast-paced and evolving technology landscape.
You'll thrive in an environment where collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement are valued. We welcome people with different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences, and we're interested in how your unique strengths can contribute to our team and clients.
You're skilled at building trusted relationships. You can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting your approach to communicate security risks, recommendations and solutions in a way that is meaningful to different audiences.
You're naturally curious and solutions-focused. You enjoy analysing complex challenges, balancing risk with business objectives, and identifying practical ways to strengthen security while enabling delivery and innovation.
You're comfortable working collaboratively and influencing others. You build consensus across teams, challenge constructively when needed, and help drive secure outcomes through partnership, credibility and sound judgement.
Essentials
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience designing and implementing security architectures that support business objectives while managing cyber risk.
- A strong understanding of security architecture principles, patterns and frameworks, including the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies.
- The ability to design security solutions, oversee their implementation, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of project delivery approaches, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience applying cybersecurity best practices throughout the solution lifecycle, from design through to implementation and operation.
- A good understanding of information security and risk management frameworks, including legal, physical and technical security controls.
- Knowledge of cloud and information security standards, including ISO/IEC 27017 and ISO/IEC 27018, or comparable industry standards.
- Understanding of common cyber threats, attack techniques and security risks, including data breaches, identity-based attacks, insider threats, third-party risks, data loss and denial-of-service attacks.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, controls and technologies.
- Experience working with a broad range of cybersecurity capabilities, such as endpoint protection, data loss prevention, device hardening, threat detection, key and certificate management, and data classification.
- The ability to act as a trusted cybersecurity adviser, explaining technical concepts, risks and recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex problems and make risk-based recommendations.
Desirable
The following would complement the wider team but are not essential:
- Professional certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security architecture, security management or risk-related qualifications.
- Experience working within consulting, professional services or complex enterprise environments.
- Exposure to security engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps or secure-by-design programmes.
- A degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting regulatory, governance or compliance initiatives within large organisations.
This role would suit someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical delivery, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and helping organisations make informed, secure technology decisions.
