Key details
What makes this role novel
Agentic AI engineering—designing, building, and deploying autonomous agents that operate independently within enterprise workflows—is a distinct discipline that emerged only in the last 2–3 years as LLMs and agent frameworks matured enough for production use. This is not generic ML or software engineering; it requires specialized knowledge of agent design patterns, tool use, and autonomous decision-making systems.
Job Description
Senior Analyst, Agentic AI Engineer
Our team sits at the forefront of Dell's Agentic AI transformation. We are building AI-native workflows, autonomous agents, and enterprise operating models that redefine how work gets done across a global services organization. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working with executives, designing AI solutions, and deploying production-grade systems that deliver measurable business value.
Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Senior Analyst, Agentic AI Engineer on our Services Operations AI Transformation team in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
What you’ll achieve
In this position as Senior Analyst, Agentic AI Engineer, you will help scale Dell Technologies' enterprise AI transformation by embedding directly with operational teams to identify, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions that improve business outcomes. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple domains, you will drive solutions from discovery through deployment while helping establish the governance, standards, and processes required to scale AI adoption across the organization.
You will:
- Partner with operations teams to analyze workflows, identify automation opportunities, and translate business processes into scalable AI agent specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered agents and workflows using large language models, retrieval systems, and enterprise data sources.
- Define evaluation frameworks, monitor production performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve solution accuracy and adoption.
- Manage AI portfolio intake, tracking, governance, and stage-gate processes to ensure successful delivery and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Create reusable templates, documentation, and best practices that enable broader adoption and scalable delivery of AI solutions across multiple business domains.
