Job Description
Clark Hill is seeking an Immigration Associate with 1-2 years of experience to join its Washington, D.C. office. This attorney will (i) represent clients in removal proceedings in Immigration Court; (ii) litigate immigration matters in federal court; (iii) represent clients in family-based immigration, naturalization, waiver, and other proceedings before USCIS; and (iv) represent clients in consular processing and other immigration proceedings. Candidates must have an active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction). This is a full-time position with the ability to work remotely two days per week.
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
- Experience in removal defense, criminal-immigration matters, and federal court litigation.
- Possess strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
- Possess a high-level attention to detail
- Possess strong academic credentials
- Possess the ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $90,000 - $95,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
