About the role:
This is a hands-on hardware role. You'll be physically moving, powering up, connecting, and exercising full radar systems — two large equipment chassis (200+&nbsp;lbs&nbsp;each) with external peripherals — and using our software interface to confirm every part of the system is healthy before it moves to the next stage of test. When you find a bad part,&nbsp;you'll&nbsp;log it, get it replaced through our production team, and keep the unit moving. You are the person who makes sure nothing ships broken and that test never stalls.&nbsp;
You do&nbsp;not&nbsp;need a radar, RF, or software-engineering background. You need to be methodical, physically capable, comfortable with hardware and basic test tools, and reliable about documentation and communication.&nbsp;We'll&nbsp;teach you the radar.&nbsp;
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Move and stage systems.&nbsp;Safely transport radar chassis (200+&nbsp;lbs, with mechanical assistance/lift equipment) into and out of the test&nbsp;area, and&nbsp;set them up in the test configuration.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Power up and bring online.&nbsp;Fully power up a radar system, connect all power, network, and signal interfaces, and bring the system to an operational state following documented procedures.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Check out all peripherals.&nbsp;Connect and verify every external module and interface on the system — point-to-point (P2P) dishes, compass/heading module, network upload, satellite (Starlink) connectivity, 5G modem, UPS, and other I/O — confirming each functions correctly.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Operate the radar UI for health and status.&nbsp;Use our software interface to read system health and status,&nbsp;identify&nbsp;whether anything is wrong, and&nbsp;determine&nbsp;pass/fail against the test procedure — no coding&nbsp;required, but comfort navigating software tools is&nbsp;a must.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Track exactly what&nbsp;you're&nbsp;testing.&nbsp;Keep diligent,&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;records of which serialized unit and configuration&nbsp;you're&nbsp;working on and what step&nbsp;it's&nbsp;at. Serial-number and configuration discipline is critical.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Log defects and drive replacement.&nbsp;When you find a bad part or a failed interface, log it in our production/defect-tracking system, communicate clearly with the production team to get the part replaced, and keep the unit progressing through test.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Keep the line moving.&nbsp;Coordinate with engineers and production so testing&nbsp;doesn't&nbsp;stall waiting on parts, equipment, or information. Flag blockers early.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, safe test area.&nbsp;Manage cables, equipment, and the&nbsp;work space; follow ESD and electrical-safety practices.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Why this role matters:
Testing is the gate every radar passes through before it reaches the field. As we scale, the test team is the difference between shipping fast and shipping broken. This role takes the heavy, hands-on system-checkout work off the engineers'&nbsp;plates&nbsp;so the whole line runs faster —&nbsp;you'll&nbsp;directly enable us to qualify more systems than the company ever has.&nbsp;
Minimum Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Associate degree in electronics/electrical technology,&nbsp;or&nbsp;equivalent military electronics/avionics training, trade school, or hands-on work experience.&nbsp;</li>
<li>2+ years&nbsp;in an electronics manufacturing, test, integration, or equipment-maintenance environment (military/field maintenance experience counts).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Hands-on comfort assembling, connecting, and disassembling hardware using common hand tools.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Comfortable connecting and troubleshooting electrical and signal interfaces (cables, connectors, network, power) and reading basic diagrams/procedures.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Comfortable operating software/computer interfaces to run tests and read status (you'll&nbsp;learn ours; you&nbsp;don't&nbsp;need to write code).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Diligent documentation habits&nbsp;—&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;logging of serial numbers, configurations, test results, and defects.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Clear communicator&nbsp;— able to coordinate with production and engineering to move parts and resolve blockers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Able to safely lift/move heavy equipment with mechanical&nbsp;assistance, and to stand and work with hardware for extended periods.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Detail-oriented, methodical, and reliable about following procedures exactly.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Preferred Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Experience in a regulated/defense/aerospace hardware environment.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, networking, or power systems at a hands-on level.&nbsp;</li>
<li>IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, or ETA CET certification (or willingness to earn).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience with defect-tracking / MES / production systems (e.g., serialized unit tracking).&nbsp;</li>
<li>ESD-controlled environment experience.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Comfort with Linux or command-line tools (we use them, but&nbsp;we'll&nbsp;train).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Active security clearance.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
