Where and how you can work
Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Buenos Aires, Argentina, so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 12-month engagement, working full-time hours.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
Canva's SEO is world-class, and we're growing our next phase in Argentina. As our SEO Content Specialist, you'll create and manage engaging, SEO-optimized content that informs, inspires, and converts local audiences — while helping us stay ahead as the way people discover content keeps evolving.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Creating and editing SEO-optimized content on design topics that resonates with Argentine audiences
Maintaining an up-to-date editorial calendar and publishing plan for landing pages and blog articles
Publishing content that follows SEO best practices and fits our local tone of voice
Tracking and refreshing landing pages to improve credibility and engagement
Working with the Argentina SEO team on keyword research, competitor analysis, and content strategy
Staying curious about how people discover content through new channels — including AI search tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews
You're Probably a Match If:
You're a native or near-native Spanish speaker with strong business-level English
You've got proven experience in SEO content writing or content marketing, with a portfolio to show for it
You know your way around a CMS and understand SEO fundamentals — keyword optimization, content structure, and user intent
You pay close attention to detail and can manage your own time across multiple priorities
You're genuinely curious about how search and discovery are changing, and you're not afraid to experiment
You build relationships easily and give feedback that helps others improve

The International SEO team helps every user in the world discover Canva. We're a global crew — spanning keyword research, technical SEO, content strategy, outreach, engineering, data, and design — working across regions and languages to combine proven frameworks with real local market knowledge.
