Job Description
Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Legal Secretary to join our award-winning team. As a Legal Secretary, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients, and contributing to our continued success.
Responsibilities
Prepare, format, and/or process legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, agreements, correspondence, and forms
Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
Handle correspondence with clients and attorneys
File legal documents timely and accurately with California courts using e-filing procedures
Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned
Minimum of 2 years of recent secretarial experience required. Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, or Personal Injury background preferred
Knowledge of California court filing/e-filing procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, reliable team player with a professional yet outgoing personality

The expected base salary range is $60,000- $85,000, depending upon experience.
