Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed. At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role is part of Blue National Security (BNS), where our focus is the design, development, and delivery of launch and spacecraft systems for national security missions. Through Blue Ring, our all-in-one, high-powered hybrid solar-electric and chemical-propelled spacecraft, we provide unmatched mission maneuverability, versatility, and capacity at dramatically lower-profile costs.About This Role
At Blue Origin, we believe in a future where millions of people live and work in space. Blue Ring (our multi-mission in-space vehicle) is a cornerstone of that future, and the electrical power system that sustains it must perform flawlessly across a wide range of missions and environments.
As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will architect, design, and deliver the electrical power components that keep Blue Ring (and similar systems) alive in space. You'll work without oversight, lead other engineers, own your program scope, and shape the tools, processes, and standards that define how our team works. This is a role with real impact, your decisions directly influence whether we achieve our mission objectives.
If you don't meet every qualification listed, we encourage you to apply. We know exceptional engineers come from many different backgrounds, and we value the perspective and experience you bring.
